Support the Dhamma

Give with a Generous Heart

In the tradition of the Buddha, all teachings are offered freely. Your generosity helps keep it that way — for everyone who walks through our doors.

The Practice of Giving

What is Dāna?

Dāna — the Pali word for generosity — is one of the most foundational practices in Buddhism. The Buddha taught that generosity purifies the mind, cultivates joy, and creates the conditions for spiritual growth.

For over 2,500 years, the Sangha (community of monks and practitioners) has been supported by the generosity of laypeople. This mutual relationship of giving — the monks offering teachings freely, laypeople offering material support — is the lifeblood of the Dhamma.

Your gift is not just financial support — it is participation in this ancient tradition of generosity. It is itself a spiritual practice.
